SPORTS DAY IS A WRAP
Papplewick is blue once more as the men in blue take the trophy home!
Well done to everyone who took part during this toasty Papplewick day! From hurdles to long jump, from relays to tug of war, the boys put in maximum effort on what was one of the hottest days of the year!
A massive thank you to Mrs Emmanuel for awarding the prizes - a lovely moment when awarding her son, Michael his medal for winning the 100m. Also, a huge thanks to Mr Bromfield and Mr Baker for organising things, Mr Mills for making the track look as great as it did and to all parents, pupils and staff who made the day so special!
Most importantly - minimal damage done during the parents races who all survived the 60m sprint!
An exeat well and truly deserved!

Last week, Year 8s got stuck in helping sort clothes at the Windsor Baby bank as well as spending the morning at Swings & Smiles during their Make A Difference day.

WHAT A DAY
Thank you to everyone that made this year's Hog Roast the best one yet! There were some incredible inflatable activities, awesome stalls including the Year 6s selling their goods, the delicious lunch and numerous drink choices and some jolly good cricket to boot!
A massive thank you to the POP team for organising and making it all happen.
Is there anything better than watching a headmaster getting hit with a wet sponge?!

Year 8 learning some vital life skills this week - changing oil and performing important vehicle checks; doing initial assessments and using the defibrillator; and, most importantly, learning how to iron!
