In Design and Technology at Papplewick, boys combine practical and technological skills with creative thinking to design and make products and systems that meet human needs. 

The boys are often challenged to think creatively in order to solve problems whether they are working as individuals or as members of a team. Every boy in Year Three and above is taught Design and Technology lessons here at Papplewick. There are also the ever popular 'Extra D&T' activities on Thursday afternoons as well as on selected evenings.  

Typical projects include electric go-kart racing, mechanical toys, CAD/CAM, Bluetooth amplifier design and make project, clocks, electronic design and make tasks, pneumatic rocket cars and electric boats, to name but a few.
