Head's Welcome

It is my absolute pleasure to welcome you to our Papplewick School website. I hope that, as you browse through the information and photographs of our school, you can get a sense of just how truly special Papplewick is. 

It is difficult to fully describe the magic that is to be found within the boundaries of our school, but if one were to start a school from scratch, incorporating all the elements that make education fast-paced, accessible, creative, unique, rigorous, captivating and most of all, fun, then I believe Papplewick is the blueprint. It is truly the most captivating school I have ever had the privilege of walking into.

The community at Papplewick is everything. From boys to parents, staff to governors, the sense of togetherness and of working towards a common goal is tangible. In a time where the world can feel fragmented, Papplewick offers a strong and united community, which together is shaping the future generation of kind, courteous, forward-thinking and respectful young men.

We are firm advocates of the boarding school model, and all our boys board from the final term of Year Six through to the end of Year Eight, which encourages them to bond together and immerse themselves fully in their route to Senior School. Our impressive leavers’ destinations tell their own story when one considers the non-selective entry process, and demonstrate the exceptional value added throughout their time with us.
