Mathletics Magic Hits the Lower School What a brilliant morning we had last week with the lower school bursting into action with an excellent Mathletics assembly, led by Mr Harrison from Mathletics itself! The boys tackled rapid fire questions and challenges, cheered each other on and showed off some seriously impressive numbers power! Exciting News from Papplewick! We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Nina Kingsmill Moore, currently Head of Wetherby Preparatory School in London, has been appointed as the next Head of Papplewick, beginning September 2026! Nina stood out unanimously from a very strong field of candidates. With her wealth of experience, passion for single-sex prep education, and excellent relationships with senior schools such as Eton, Harrow, and Winchester, she is brilliantly placed to lead Papplewick into an exciting new chapter. A long-time local resident and educator, Nina knows both the Berkshire and London landscapes well. She is deeply committed to the full boarding model that sits at the heart of Papplewicksomething reflected in her own family's enthusiasm for boarding life. Stepping into the shoes of Tom Bunbury is no small task, but Nina is a leader for our timesfull of vision, warmth, and a true belief in joyful learning for boys. Tom adds: "I could not be more delighted to be handing over the reins to Nina... I look forward to working closely with her to ensure a smooth transition for every Papplewick boy and family."
